HILLSBORO, Mo. – Three-time convicted murderer Nicholas Sheley is in Missouri. Lt. Kevin Carle, commander of the Jefferson County Jail, said Sheley arrived about 2 p.m. Tuesday. He was arraigned Tuesday and the next day was appointed a public defender, Courtney Goodwin.
